1)

DON’T PANIC (AND TAKE YOUR TIME) // NIENTE PANICO (E PRENDETEVI DEL TEMPO)

There are things that require time and season change is one of those. So, find a free afternoon (or morning or yes, your weekend) to do that. The best way to avoid stress is doing things with calm…and a cup of tea! That lunch with friends or Saturday afternoon at the mall will wait, for once.

2)

BOXES, YOUR NEW BEST FRIENDS // SCATOLE, LE VOSTRE NUOVE AMICHE

If your house is big enough you’ll probably have an other closet where to put clothes, but if not, you need a plan b. Carton boxes (like the ones you find in Ikea) are the best option to store your season change. Fill your boxes with your t-shirts, dresses, pants washed and folded, add a perfumed lavender bag and don’t forget the tags! They will help you knowing exactly what each box contains. Then you can put the boxes on the top of your closet, under the bed or whenever you have some space, the important is that it’s a dry place. Vi aiuteranno a sapere cosa c’è in ogni scatola.

Here a printable tags list for you 🙂 // Ecco una lista etichette che potete stampare 🙂

3)

DIVIDE BY FABRICS // DIVIDETE PER TESSUTI

After decluttering your wardrobe you now have to fill it with your “new” clothes. I suggest you to divide them by fabrics (instead of colors or worse…randomly!). I divide wool clothes from the others, so that I always know what to wear depending on the weather. This is why, if I’m late and it’s crazy cold outside, I’ll grab the first thing I’ll find in my “super warm” section sure that I won’t be cold. Time (and health) saving! Tempo (e salute) ringrazieranno!

4)

OPTIMIZE YOUR SPACE // OTTIMIZZATE GLI SPAZI

Yes to useful accessories like little boxes, dividers, fabric bags, hanging pockets and everything will help you to optimize your space. These will be perfect especially for your clothing accessories: hangers or hanging pockets for your belts, fabric bags for your clutches and bags, boxes for jewelry etc. Your accessories will be protected by dust and ready-to-wear. Talking about shoes, if you don’t have a shoe rack, I suggest you to store them in fabric bags: shoe boxes steal too much space!
